Tuition is due Bi Monthly with Recreational class payments due 9/1, 11/1, 1/1, 3/1, 5/1 and Company payments due 9/1, 11/1, 1/1, 3/1, 5/1, 7/1 respectively.   If tuition is not paid by the15th of the month, you will be charged a $25.00 late fee. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. NEW *** PAYPAL PAYMENTS AND AMEX PAYMENTS WILL REQUIRE A 4% ADDITIONAL FEE ON TOP OF OUR CHARGES.  A fee of $25.00 will be charged to your account for returned checks. Customers with more than one returned check will be asked to pay in cash in the future.

September and October are due Upon Registration

Summer for Company is due 7/1.

Refund Policy – TUITION

No refunds will be given for partial months attendance.  No refunds shall be made for withdrawals not made in a timely manner, and the undersigned dancer and the parent/guardian shall remain responsible for the full annual tuition. Registration fees and performance fees are non-refundable. Non-attendance does not constitute withdrawal. We require two weeks advance written notice if you or your child wishes to withdraw from our program. Billing will continue until two weeks after notification has been received. We do not refund absences. No refunds/credits are given to dancers for classes missed due to student absence, inclement weather cancellations, or student vacations, holidays, or days off from school.  (We do, however, have a class makeup policy)



Please phone ahead if you will be absent. Absences resulting from illness, injury or vacations may be made up within four weeks. Planned absences may be made up in advance. Please note that we do not refund absences. In the event of school closings due to inclement weather or class cancellations, students will be able to make up the class in another class within one month. In the event of inclement weather, a message will be placed on this website regarding the status of these classes. L.A. Dance has the right to cancel any class due to insufficient attendance.



We expect all students to be courteous, polite, and respectful of each other and their teachers. Students are expected to arrive on time for class and dressed appropriately. Students may not eat or chew gum in the studios. Water bottles are acceptable.


We will not tolerate Unnecessary Parent Drama.  Please be respectful to all students, parents and staff.  We reserve the right to ask you and your child to leave if we believe you have acted inappropriately toward another member of our studio or staff. 


Parents are always invited to watch class from the T.V. displays found in the upstairs and downstairs waiting areas. During various times of the year we invite our students’ friends, who may want to try a free dance class, to our studio. Please check our calendar for these dates.

Ballet – Black bodysuit, pink convertible tights

Jazz/Lyrical/Technique/Contemporary – Black, Purple  – Dance Shorts/briefs, Bra tops, dance cami, bodysuit – no leggins

Tap – Black, Purple  Dance Shorts/briefs, Bra tops, dance cami, bodysuit, leggins

Hip Hop – Black, Purple  – Dance Shorts/ Hip Hop Pants Bra tops, dance cami – No T-shirts

No pajama bottoms, oversized t-shirts or sweatpants are acceptable for dance wear. No jewelry, including hoop earrings, watches, or necklaces, are allowed in class.


Hair must be pulled back and away from the face. A neat ballet bun is required for ALL ballet classes. Either a bun or ponytail is acceptable for all other classes. Sprayed, gelled, slicked.
