Amanda has been part of the L. A. Dance family since the age of two and represented us as a dancer for twenty two years. She now passes on her expertise to our students as a valued instructor. Through the years, she became an integral part of our L. A. Dance Company, performing at competitions, in recitals, at many charitable events, for the Staten Island Yankees, and on NY1 and FOX 5 TV. She was also featured in the short film “Bodies That Matter.” Because of her talent and expertise, Amanda was accepted and studied full time for two years at the legendary Joffrey Ballet School. While there, she received a master education from renowned dancers and choreographers in many styles of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Choreography, Hip Hop & Musical Theater. She also studied dance at the College of Staten Island, taking many classes to refine her craft. In addition to teaching at L. A. Dance, Amanda manages the dance program at two day care centers. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors Degree as a Dance Science major in the CUNY Baccalaureate for Unique and Interdisciplinary Studies program. We are thrilled to have her on our staff at LADC.
