Dakota began dancing at the young age of 2 and has been trained competitively in all styles including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Standard and Latin. She has trained under many world class professionals and as a former student of LA Dance she is determined to succeed and bring success to her students. In recent achievements she has won the US Under 21 National title in Latin, Placed 4th in US National Adult Latin Championships, and represented the USA in China for the WDSF World Competition with her partner Eric Groysman. In other styles she has been accepted to Complexions Summer Program, the sister program to Alvin Ailey, danced as a Professional Backup Dancer to Ro-Mina in prestigious theatres, attended the Atlantic City Ballet Company, and been a National High Scoring Contemporary Solo Finalist. Along with her competitive career she coaches her students to succeed and grow in their love of dance in the styles of Jazz, Hip Hop and Latin Dance. Dakota enjoys working on the athleticism, and technique of dance with a unique approach to every kind of student.
